Good story but some of the special-effects needed more work...especially the scenes of Hell.

Well it was from '98 so how much can you really expect? The visuals were nice for the time and it stayed true to the story, but it lacked heart. I would expect any remake to be 100% better than this but you can really find some excellent acting in Leguizamo. Just keep your expectations relatively low and you won't be disappointed.

Spawn is awesome! I've been re-reading my collection 2 catch up in the comics.This movie is exactly what Spawn is! Action,horror,romance. Everything a good movie needs and then some!

Get it I recommend it!
