they've ruined the final season with convoluted long form stories and the spiteful killing off of sharon raydor. her death was a retread of bobby simone's death in nypd blue AND laura roslyn's death in battlestar galactica. a long drawn out slap in the face to all the fans who have been with (most of) these characters since the beginning of the closer. what a waste.

I could go on and on about how I love this show, how easy it is to relate to the characters, I am not someone that goes crazy over a show but this one show makes you feel like the characters are a part of your family. For 13 years I have watched some of these characters grow and adapt to a changing world. I do now say "the" Facebook and "the" Tweeter. Makes me smile everytime I think about it. The acting ability of this ensemble cast is top notch, the way they work with each other and trust each other shows in the final result. Thank you to the cast of Major Crimes and The Closer for 13 years of wonderful acting, you will truly be missed. How about making a feature film for these characters?

One of the best Crime Dramas on TV. Too bad it will gone after this season. Try it, it is time well spent and so many other TV shows are not.
  • Love the Show but Rusty has to Go

I was a big fan of The Closer which led me to start watching Major Crimes. I love this show and have followed it over the course of 6 seasons. Sure, it's a little schmaltzy at times and frankly, if you couldn't figure out who the serial rapist was by the end of the first episode of The Conspiracy, you're probably not that bright. Still, I love the character interaction and the actors themselves. The only one who I have never warmed to is Rusty. I find myself in the odd position of wishing Stroh had offed him a couple of seasons ago. This kid is so self-absorbed and self-pitying, I don't know why he wasn't written out or at least, re-written. Can't even stand the sound of his voice. However, if enduring Rusty's constant whining is the price one has to pay to enjoy the rest of the show, it's worth it.

I have NEVER before been so excited nor looked forward to watch a televison show , every since I was a child. When Major Crimes come on.....past or present episodes .....everything stops! Everyone in my house hold understands ...dont even ask me a question when I am watching this show and if they do, it better be an emergency....lol. To hear of this being the last season makes me so sad and really wish it would continue..I love the chemistry between the shows characters ....well adorable! I simple LOVE Prevensa ( if I spelled correct) I find him so comical.

  • If Eps 1’s indicative of season, it’s ruined

I’ve loved the series & own all of them, plus Closer, but the 1st episode of the final season’s horrible. It was extremely disjointed w/ no cohesive plot line. The entire family walked away from it saying “what the hell was that?”. Hopefully this episode isn’t indicative of the series’ final season; else, it’s likely to ruin a great series, cast, etc well before the season’s even to winter’s (mid-season) break. 👎👎

The final season of Major Crimes is promised (and previewed) to be the best, with some of the best acting of Mary McDonnell and the entire cast on the show. DO NOT MISS the emotional conclusion and closure of this 13 years franchise. Additionally go and find the WWSRD (what would Sharon Raydor do) PODCAST to hear the thoughts of Mary McDonnell on the development of her character, her thoughts on women in power and many other reflections! It is a great podcast!
