  • POOR MOVE! Joe and Matt were five star survivalist

It totally shocked me when after four episodes of season six Joe and Matt disappeared I don't know why discovery went that route but it definitely was not the right one. I hope Joe and Matt could make it back for the eighth season because then eight would be great

  • New cast is fine, but the formula needs to change.

Dual Survival has the potential to be a great show, but they spend wasted time doing rehash of the same footage over and over again. Episode 2, for instance, took four and a half minutes to get to the point where it left off (in Episode 1) and then they sapped it even further with more rehash and redundant filler conversation. Halfway through the episode (getting fire), they stretched that out as far as they could. STOP rehashing footage and start giving us content. STOP trying to create bogus crises and just let the footage stand. STOP bleeding the viewer dry over a 45 minute show that contains 15-20 minutes of good content. The new guys are fine, but the fake conflict needs to go. The argumentative schtick is old. Episode 3, editing is mind-numbingly bad and the fake tough-guy-doesn't-understand-the-nature-lover-and-just-wants-to-push-on conflicts arise every five minutes. Episode 7, lighting a signal fire in the bed of a Suzuki Sidekick, right above the gas tank isn't too smart. We want to see two guys in the woods surviving, is that too much to ask? Get rid of the people who insist on the lame format and give the guys cameras and let them film it. Combine the footage and you'd have a winning survival show and fans would love it.
