I have really enjoyed both seasons. Great acting and production. Very nice pace, not so fast like more modern TV movies.

Joseph and Moses are the best!

Of the entire series, Joseph is the crown jewel. Simply marvelous and believable. Abraham and Moses were also excellent, and Jacob was good. Samson & Delilah was passable but unengaging. Regrettably, for one of the most dynamic and lauded characters in the Bible, the movie about David was so off-target it was hard to get through a single viewing. The other episodes make the set worth the money, but since iTunes no longer offers them as a whole season — only purchasable by episode — you can pick and choose the ones you actually want and avoid the others. Unless you’re a completionist.

Love these, they capture some very important cultural issues. I am not a big fan of Moses
  • 5 stars for Joseph

My biggest complaint is that in the Moses episodes, Moses is portrayed as a clumsy doofus, with the narrative being exactly the opposite of the Ten Commandments of Charlton Heston fame.
  • Amazing series

These stories are amazing stories from the Bible. However, where are the other movies in volumes 1 & 2? I found they’re all on Amazon Prime, but not on iTunes.

This collection is really a mixed bag. Some of the movies are outstanding, others are a waste of time. Joseph is by far the best. Abraham is also good. The others are hit and miss. I started watching David 4 times, never got more than 8 minutes into it, was lost everytime, and finally gave up. I still think it is worth the money, as long as your expectations are not too high and you don't expect to be wowed by every episode.

I have been looking for a digital copy of Joseph from this TV special forever. I was about to give up but did one final search and found it in this TV collection! Thank you so much! I have not seen the other episodes but Josepg hands down is soooo worth buying, it is really good.
